PRAKYATH’14, Silver Jubilee Cultural Fest is conducted on 7-2-2014 and 8-2-2014.  It held the flag of Sir C R Reddy College of Engineering flying high attracting students all over United Andhra Pradesh to participate in competitions in literary and cultural events. Students found themselves planning, organizing, conducting and supervising events and activities which involve leadership and creativity.  Present day technology is extensively used to give a stupendous look to the campus. It added colour and festivity to the days by bringing students from all walks of life to make the event a memorable one. 

A two day national conference was jointly organized by the departments of Civil, ECE, EEE, EIE and Mechanical Engineering on 24^th and 25^th January 2014 in view of the Silver jubilee celebrations (1989-2014) of Sir C.RReddy College of Engineering. The conference was embalmed with renowned experts from academic institutions and research organizations to share, exchange their ideas, inculcate technical values of engineering discipline and move towards techno-innovation. Response to the national conference was tremendous and it was fared well by the institution. A good number of quality research papers were contributed to the conference across the nation on various emerging research areas and published in indexed international journals of repute.

            The chief guest Dr.K.Soloman Raju, Principal scientist and project leader, CSIR-CEERI, PILANI, Govt of India, has inaugurated the conference on 24^th Jan 2014 at 10.30am and delivered the key note address. The chairman of the conference Dr.G.Sambasiva Rao,  Guest of honour Dr.D.S.R.Murthy, HOD, Dept Of Civil Engineering., Andhra University, Guest of honour Sri.Alluri Indra Kumar, President, Sir C.R.R.Educational Institutions, Guest of honor, Dr.M.B.S.V.Prasad, Secretary, Sir C.R.R.Educational Institutions and office bearers have addressed the gathering. Technical presentations were organized in the respective departments.

The Conference was concluded with valedictory function on 25^th January 2014 at 03.30p.m.  Chief guest Dr.N.Bhargava Rammohan Rao, Professor, Dept. of Metallurgical Engineering, Andhra University and Ex-registrar of Adikavi- Nannaya University graced the occasion. The feedback given by the participants was good and encouraging.  National Anthem was rendered at the closing of valedictory function.
