Welcome to Sir. C. R. Reddy College of Engineering

Sir C.R.Reddy College of Engineering is the first Engineering College in Andhra Pradesh sanctioned and recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). This College is permanently affiliated to JNTUK from the Academic Year 2017-18.

Since its inception in 1989, Sir C.R.Reddy College of Engineering has been a premier institute for quality engineering education in Andhra Pradesh under the stewardship of its broad minded and magnanimous management. The last two and a half decades has seen the Institute fulfilling its motto of 'QUALITY SERVICE & VALUE BASED EDUCATION' to the student community.

The College is situated near Vatluru railway gate in Eluru, the Head Quarters of West Godavari district. It is surrounded by beautiful paddy fields and is on Chennai-Howrah highway and train route. A large number of buses and trains run via this town. It is easily accessible from any part of the country by rail as well as road.

The College is located in its own sprawling campus with an area of 30.48 acres. Its magnanimous infrastructure and greenery attracts the attention of people who pass by.  TechKnow Club:

 

Objectives:

1. Bring technical awareness among the students.

2. Make them capable individuals ready to industry technically.

3. Instill in them inquisitive learning nature.

Activities:

1. Ice breaking Sessions for First year students by senior students.

2. Coding Premier for 2nd, 3rd and final year students twice a year.

3. Every month second Saturday, Seminars by industry resource persons on present technology trends.

4. Conducting workshops frequently per semester for students.

5. Seminars by any student from any department on technology.

6. Events for every 15 days like Technical Quiz, Paper presentation, etc

 

Public Speaking Club:

 

Objectives:

1. To bring communication awareness among the students.

2. Make the students capable of expressing their views without fear.

3. To observe things from other points of view.

Activities:

1. Every week on Tuesday, the events are conducted for 3rd and 2nd-year students.

2. Communication exercises for 2nd, 3rd and final year students.

3. Meeting and interacting with students in the context of a social and intellectual activity.

4. To develop speaking skills for 2nd and 3rd-year students.

Department Library

 

A well furnished department library is functioning in the department. The department library maintains 2300 Volumes and 625 titles.  Apart from the text books it also keeps a collection of National and e-journals, aptitude books, previous question papers, project records, work shop & seminar CD's are kept in the department library for staff and students reference etc.,
