Welcome to Sir. C. R. Reddy College of Engineering

Sir C.R.Reddy College of Engineering is the first Engineering College in Andhra Pradesh sanctioned and recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). This College is permanently affiliated to JNTUK from the Academic Year 2017-18.

Since its inception in 1989, Sir C.R.Reddy College of Engineering has been a premier institute for quality engineering education in Andhra Pradesh under the stewardship of its broad minded and magnanimous management. The last two and a half decades has seen the Institute fulfilling its motto of 'QUALITY SERVICE & VALUE BASED EDUCATION' to the student community.

The College is situated near Vatluru railway gate in Eluru, the Head Quarters of West Godavari district. It is surrounded by beautiful paddy fields and is on Chennai-Howrah highway and train route. A large number of buses and trains run via this town. It is easily accessible from any part of the country by rail as well as road.

The College is located in its own sprawling campus with an area of 30.48 acres. Its magnanimous infrastructure and greenery attracts the attention of people who pass by. The vast green campus housing several Departments provides a stimulating environment to the high caliber staff and students of the institution.

The Campus at Vatluru is a place where students from all walks of life are under a single umbrella pursuing their BE/B.Tech, M.Tech and MBA courses.

Transport & Parking

Public transport is available in abundance for daily commutation. However the management has provided adequate transport facilities to students as well as to staff to come to college from far off places. Buses ply regularly from places like Vijayawada and also from local points of Eluru. Transport facility is extended to the student community to go on Local Tours, attending Off-Campus Recruitment Drives, Industrial Tours etc. Management has provided three buses for these activities. 

 

 

 

Parking Facility is available in the campus for both Faculty and student Community. Separate parking slots for girl students and visitors is also available.

 

Modern Auditorium

A well furnished centrally air conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of 504, with ultra modern facilities like hands free LCD Projector, Audio Visual equipment etc is housed in a Built up Space of 699.06 Sq Mts with an investment of Rs. 2.2 Crores, to conduct academic programmes like seminars, workshops, symposiums, Guest Lectures etc.

Browsing Centre

 
 

Apart from the computing and browsing facilities now available in the departments, the central library has computer center with 70 terminals that provide browsing facilities for common use of all staff and students. The center remains open till 7:00 PM in the evening on all working days. The centre provides the latest state-of-art computer and browsing facilities. The college is connected to BSNL Broadband with 20 Mbps link and NETLINX with 100 MbPS  leased line.
