Welcome to Sir. C. R. Reddy College of Engineering

Sir C.R.Reddy College of Engineering is the first Engineering College in Andhra Pradesh sanctioned and recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). This College is permanently affiliated to JNTUK from the Academic Year 2017-18.

Since its inception in 1989, Sir C.R.Reddy College of Engineering has been a premier institute for quality engineering education in Andhra Pradesh under the stewardship of its broad minded and magnanimous management. The last two and a half decades has seen the Institute fulfilling its motto of 'QUALITY SERVICE & VALUE BASED EDUCATION' to the student community.

The College is situated near Vatluru railway gate in Eluru, the Head Quarters of West Godavari district. It is surrounded by beautiful paddy fields and is on Chennai-Howrah highway and train route. A large number of buses and trains run via this town. It is easily accessible from any part of the country by rail as well as road.

The College is located in its own sprawling campus with an area of 30.48 acres. Its magnanimous infrastructure and greenery attracts the attention of people who pass by. The vast green campus housing several Departments provides a stimulating environment to the high caliber staff and students of the institution.

The institute has realised the significance of students' health and has rightly taken steps to avoid many a disease that are water born by way of providing purified and protected water by installing a plant which produces 20, 000 litres per day with latest technology available in the contemporary world like R. O. System as a central facility with an investment of Rs. 3.5 lakhs.

Young Researchers Club

 

Young Research club is a research promoting association in Sir C R Reddy College of engineering, which formed its very first body in the academic year 2010-11.

With a caption, “You have an idea. We have a platform”, this association has been successful in upgrading the research quality of the students, as well as elevating the innovative skills, by bestowing them a platform to illustrate their innovative ideas and thereby encouraging them to enhance their research skills.

Young research club is now booming, as this association is lucrative in conducting many student research activities like sharing creative ideas on a stage, presenting ongoing in house projects, guidance for paper presentation, project expos and lot more.

Students have been enthusiastically participating in all these activities since the emerging of this association. Very recently young research club have organized a project expo and witnessed a marvelous response.

Among all the ground breaking demonstrations by students from various departments, the best 2 of all demos and one best demo from individual departments is identified.
