Sir C.R.Reddy College of Engineering is the first Engineering College in Andhra Pradesh sanctioned and recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). This College is permanently affiliated to JNTUK from the Academic Year 2017-18.

Since its inception in 1989, Sir C.R.Reddy College of Engineering has been a premier institute for quality engineering education in Andhra Pradesh under the stewardship of its broad minded and magnanimous management. IE(I) Students' Chapter

It is an article of faith at Sir CRR to complement the academic component of the university and enhance the overall educational experience of students through a wide range of extra-curricular programmes, facilities, services and activities. Co-curricular and extracurricular activities are planned and executed through a number of associations, clubs, societies and students' chapters of professional bodies. They are owned and managed by representatives of students and are monitored by the faculty in-charge.

We have a student body named SUMMITE - “Sir c r r college Ultimate Macho Mechanicals In Technical Excellence” which carries out various activities which help the students to develop themselves technically and personally. Minimum of two seminars are held by eminent resource persons from reputed institutions each semester. Some of our students so far have achieved good ranks in GATE and are pursuing higher education in reputed institutions.

Various avtivities are being organized to improve the  skills of students

 JAM: The students are encouraged to present their innovative ideas on technical matters.

Group Discussions: The students are encouraged to actively participate in group discussions so as to improve their soft skills as well as technical skills.

Quiz: In this module the students are assessed for their knowledge in technical subjects, political, sports etc.

Sports: Students are encouraged to actively participate in sports to get laurels for the college. 

Mock Gate: In this module, the students are encouraged to participate in Mock Gate in order to improve their technical skills. 

 

 

 

Department Library

Library is a rich source of information to the students. The library is equipped with a good number of volumes of books, journals, periodicals, technical magazines and e-journals.

The department library maintains more than 1019 Volumes and   220 tiltles .  Apart from the text books it also keeps a collection of National and e-journals, aptitude books, previous question papers etc.,
